Adventures as Winter Texans!

South Texas is a cacophony of color, wildlife and culture.  Our first winter without the boat we learned that there are no Snowbirds in Texas, only Winter Texans.  They actually seem to enjoy the influx of winter visitors.  I’m thinking Florida could take a lesson from Texas!

David wanted to revisit his US Coast Guard Corpus Christi escapades as well as winters in Brownsville (and South Padre Island) with his grandparents who were also Winter Texans.  Highlights of our warm(er) weather sojourn as Winter Texans include:
