Cape Lookout National Seashore is another set of offshore barrier islands accessible only by boat or ferry. We did a series of daytrips – seeing the southern end at Providencetown, also the famous Cape Lookout lighthouse circa 1859 and wild horses of Shackleford Banks. We could have spent a week… So much to do and so much relaxing to be enjoyed….
