Bodie Island Light Station, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, NC

Don’t miss the chance to climb the 214 stairs and see the lighthouse that a flock of geese damaged just a couple of weeks before it was first lit in 1872! Oh, and stay off the grass. The sign says “Snake Habitat” but I think they’re just trying to keep us off the grass. Guess what! It worked!
