After returning from our 10,000 mile foray into the world of trailer camping, we’ve been busy … or maybe I should rephrase that and call it what it is … lazy. We were in great shape from hiking, biking and exploring every day for months. But now, six weeks later, we’ve walked twice.
A sailing friend recently posted the below Public Service YouTube video from the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Because we plan to be able to continue hiking and biking, I’m going to watch this video every time I don’t feel like walking 4 miles or eating my veggies!
We’re lucky to be healthy, and although we’re a bit away from the last 10 years of our lives (we hope, but you never know), better to start now!

Like me, I hope you re-watch this video anytime you get out of the habit of regular exercise. We walked 2 miles this morning, before it started pouring rain, now I need the rain to let up for 2 more miles…..
